Late night bathroom problems
Hey folks!
First: welcome new readers! (Queerty readers, Redditors, SPXers, anyone else new.) I hope you enjoy the strip.
Second: SPX (The Small Press Expo) this past weekend was absolutely amazing. I sold out of books for the first time at a con! And I want to thank everyone who stopped by to talk to me and everyone who bought books and prints. You helped make my weekend fantastic.
Third: as you may know, in addition to making comics and having a day job, I volunteer with a local independent music-focused [internet] radio station called CHIRP Radio. (My experiences there have lead to jokes like this one) CHIRP Radio is 99.5% volunteer-run, listener-supported, and it’s a labor of love.
We are starting our fall fundraising drive right now, and for my fans, I’ve come up with an offer. If you go make a donation of ANY AMOUNT at CHIRPradio.org/donatenow, and put my full name (Tony Breed) in where it says “How did you hear about CHIRP Radio?”, I will send you a personally illustrated postcard. ANY AMOUNT. Yes. (And the more you donate, the more time I’ll spend on the postcard.) Your donation helps pay rent and streaming costs, and allows us to provide this great service. So think about it.
And also? Tune in Friday mornings 6am-9am Central and you can hear my show!
THANKS!

Why is there a reflectoin on the inside of the cabinet door?
It’s not uncommon to have a mirror on the inside of the door. At least, I’ve got one like that and so does my mother. But I guess there are a lot that don’t, and come to think of it I don’t open my friend’s medicine cabinets very often, so how would I know what’s in there? My last place didn’t have a medicine cabinet at all, just a massive mirror and one tiny drawer.
Oh, I wasn’t aware they made them with mirrors on the inside. I’ve never seen one like that.
UGH! For tears I’ve been finding very small beads of what looks like mercury on my bathroom sink with no idea where they came from. (The metal in the faucets?) Turns out … antique mirrors were made with mercury and it’s been slowly leeching out of the mirror and dropping down.
Eeeeeeeeeek! Get thee to a sweat lodge!
Hi, It was great meeting you at SPX. I hadn’t heard of this comic before, but I bought all 3 books and finished them over the weekend. I’m enjoying it quite a bit. Which strip is next in order after the books are finished? I want to pick up where they left off on the site, but I’m trying to avoid jumping around in the order trying to figure it out. Thanks.
Thanks, Kristin! Glad you liked the books! (And great meeting you too!)
The next comic after the last one in book 3 is this one from Jan 2, 2012.
As soon as I get the cash, I’ll try and help out Chirp. Independent radio is awesome.
