Further tales of a broken medicine cabinet
The current storyline is actually inspired by out own medicine cabinet. The door is, in fact, attached via some gummy glue that is slowly giving way; the door is slowly falling off and there’s no way to repair it. The cabinet has been slowly falling apart for years. It’s got little mirrored panels on the side, and about a year ago one of those panels dropped off in the middle of the night and shattered on the bathroom floor. That’s a sound that wakes you up, I’ll tell you.
As I mentioned last week, in addition to making this comic I am a volunteer with CHIRP Radio here in Chicago. I’m on the board, I help lead Marketing, I DJ, and I do a ton of other stuff. I’m very proud of the work we’ve done there; we’ve built a really great station.
We are 99.5% volunteer-run, but even so, we still need to pay things like rent and streaming costs. CHIRP is in its fall fundraising drive right now, and I’m making a special offer: if you make a donation of ANY AMOUNT to CHIRP before the end of the week (Friday 9/28) and mention my name (Tony Breed) where it says “How did you hear about CHIRP” I will mail you a hand-illustrated postcard. (This is in addition to any other premiums you qualify for, like our awesome limited edition shirt designed by Beck Kramer.
Thanks! (And thanks to those of you who have already donated!)

Oh God. Me and my husband are so gonna be like this.
He always complains I never repair anything..
