I like the working out/body acceptance comic, because it’s very true about the body acceptance part. I’m overweight myself, but I’m so comfortable with the weight I’m at, I have a difficult time psyching myself up to lose weight unless I go over the top weight I’m comfortable with. When I do that, I get out and exercise more until I’m back down to an “acceptable” weight, though I should probably say my primary care doctor encourages me to lose more. Also, even when I’m very thin (I was under 150lbs in the Navy, and that’s *thin* for me), I still thought of myself as fat. It didn’t matter that by the time I got out of bootcamp, I was cinching my belt even tighter than I originally had it set at–in my mind, I was still fat.
I think the claims about body image are true of more than just your body. Faking it until you start to believe it works equally well for building confidence about almost any issue.

I like this comic and I also like your body acceptance comic. Body acceptance is like a muscle, too. You have to build it up.

Done…finished the entire web comic in less than two days…
Like the work you’ve been doing outside of the comic. Keep it up. :D4
