Panel two was fun to draw—not just because of the bare torso, but because of the whole scene. Also, when I need to draw an unusual pose, I typically model it myself and take a picture with camera in my laptop. There is now a picture of me on my computer posing like Corey in panel two, but let me assure you that I do not look that good. The actual six pack model was courtesy of Google images. Interesting tidbit: if you search for “man’s stomach” in Google images, you get some pretty disturbing photos. Yes, now that I think of it, “stomach” is a medical word. The photos are less disturbing if you look for “man’s tummy”, but frankly I feel a little old to be using the word “tummy”.

Hey folks where are you going to be next weekend? Did you say C2E2? Yes? Well come on down and see me at booth 846! I’m partnering with Prism comics and some other cartoonists. We’ll have a nice setup there, toward the back, not too far from “webcomics pavilion” (no one speaks of pavilions anymore, and that saddens me), right across from Imperial Quartermaster Collectibles (yeah I don’t know what that is either, but they have a big booth), and around the corner from Threadless. I’ll have books and shirts and will be hanging out with my talented peers who you should also check out. Look for the big rainbow Prism banner. Yowee!
