Extracurricular activity
You know, whenever I get back into sex jokes, I think half my audience is thinking, ugh, sex jokes again, and the other half is thinking, oh boy, sex jokes again!
Well anyway I hope you are amused.
About a week and a half ago I had a chance to meet up for coffee with Claude Edwards, creator of Abel Boddy. It’s always great to meet with other creators and talk shop (well—we also talked about Murder, She Wrote). But usually I’m talking shop with straight web cartoonists, or gay print cartoonists. As a gay web cartoonist, I find myself in a kind of small niche, and I’m not sure I intended to be there. But here I am, trying to build an audience, and it was nice to talk to someone dealing with the same thing. Also: Claude’s a cool guy, so that was nice too.
C2E2 is coming up! I will be sharing a booth with some other fine folks: Kris Dresen, Tana Ford, and Zan from Northwest Press. Keep checking back here for details! I just ordered fancy new bookmarks to hand out.
Oh boy…! 🙂
Bookmarks?! I trust Corey’s parties don’t have bookmarks. 😀
Wasn’t expecting that one so I am very amused.
Speaking of Abel Boddy, your link to his webcomic on the right side of the website is broken. It links to http://www.abelboddy.com/blog/, which is no longer viable.
Fixed! Thanks.
