Continued social awkwardness!
So the story Charlie is tell Finn in panel one there is actually a true story from when I was in college. A friend of mine was friends with these guys in an up-and-coming Chicago band (who later made it big, though only briefly). One of the guys had a crush on her, she said, and was actively pursuing her. Rather than telling him she wasn’t interested, she hung out with him but slipped him herbal sedatives so he would leave her alone. It’s probably better if I don’t tell you the name of the band.

Biff, are you asking about me and my husband, or Finn and Charlie? Because if it’s Finn and Charlie, you’ll just have to wait and see.
If it’s me and my husband, well, there was no actual first date because we have always been together. We sprung forth from Zeus’ skull as a fully formed couple.
Once again, too adorable and yet very real. (And I think I had Charlie’s shirt in college. Retroactively yikes!)
