And don’t even bring up Bettie Page
Hello cats and kittens, happy happy merry merry. Light a candle of some sort and think nice things.
I’m still offering original art and mix tapes to benefit the Chicago Independent Radio Project — and thank you to those who have donated! For those who haven’t, I’m adding one more option… a small drawing for $25.
So $50 will get you a large drawing, about 11″x14, and $25 will get you a smaller one, about 5″x7″. In either case, I take requests… just about anything you want!
This offer will be good until the end of December! So, you know, act now and all that.
Awesomeness.
Hope you have a good holiday. 🙂
I’m going to be be cheeky & donate $36 just to toy with you. (We like giving multiple of chai.)
Done!
Excellent! One crocus-themed drawing, coming up.
Don’t want to be a pest, but just wanted to check if you received my email yesterday? (I’ve no idea what the time difference is! Lol.)
Just found it! Reply coming shortly…
Ok, I know this is like two and a half years later, but wasn’t she also the voice of the computer for the majority of the Star Trek Franchise?
I think you’re right!
I just discovered your webcomic 2 days ago and I’m slowly working my way through them.
I’m finding them to be quite funny – actually hilarious would be a better word, since I have actually laughed out loud a few occasions! – but so far I hadn’t felt the overwhelming urge to comment. Partly because I’m lazy, but also because seeing as I’m a female 20something student who lives with her parents and I’m also european and not gay it is more far from my bed funny, then oh I can really relate. Although that said I think your strips are very general and open and in no-way limited to one reader group.
But with this one I had an “OMG, how can you not know Majel Roddenbery?!?!” moment. My entire family are star trek fans and considering my dad was rather late in fathering children he can even remember the original airing of the OST. And while I don’t think anyone in my family would ever go so far as to dress up as a klingon for a convention or anything, we are all proud trekkies and just like Charlie we also feel that “We know her” … who can forget troi’s mother!!!
Although I do get Finn’s reaction. I have that all the time when someone starts celebrity gossiping … but still Start Trek is special 🙂
Looking at the date when you posted this, it just hit me that time really flies. It did not seem that long ago that I read the newsreport that she had died.
Well to finish in a totally cliche manner: I hope you and your comic live long and prosper. I’m off to read some more
