And the dork goes for broke (pt 2)
Greetings! This wraps up the flashback series. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed making them.
And you know what today is? It’s election day, in the US. If you are a US citizen, PLEASE PLEASE VOTE. It’s really important.
If you don’t know how to vote for all the candidates, feel free to skip the ones you don’t know about. Don’t pass up voting for a senator just because you didn’t know who to vote for in the Water Reclamation District or what have you.
Also, there are scads of organizations and newspapers that publish endorsements. Think of organizations or newspapers you like, and check for their endorsements. Print them out, take them into the booth with you. (I check my local gay paper for endorsements, and I also look into what the Sierra Club and NOW recommend.)
If you already know all of this, AWESOME! Just get out there and do it. And if you didn’t know this stuff, then I hope I’ve helped you out.
And if you aren’t an American citizen, I hope this wasn’t too boring for you. Enjoy the comic! It’s totally not election-related.

I’ve enjoyed the flashback series.
Re. voting (which I plan to do), one doesn’t have to rely on endorsements (some are non-exclusive anyway); there are folks like the League of Women Voters who have questionnaires that candidates (or their staff?) fill out and you can read those and make up your own minds. (Not that there’s anything wrong with trusting endorsements, but I recommend doing some homework, too.) http://www.vote411.org has that kind of information and lets you build your own ballot to print and take with you. It also links to candidates’ web sites so you can get more info.
Absolutely going to rock out the vote (even though I’m moving from this state in two days haha). Also got the Finn and Charlie book that I ordered yesterday and I LOVE it. Keep on doing great work!!
Tony,
I just got my comic print of the strip with Finn in his dream sequence… So. Awsome. And thanks for the extra! It takes a real Artist to portray something like that and make it comic and erotic, but not vulgar. Oh, and I love the sketch on the envelope! Thanks so much!
Glad you liked it, Bobby! Sorry you had to wait a while for it.
No problem, I wasn’t worried. 😉
