Today’s comic is partly inspired by the learning that Jess Fink [NSFW] and Eric Colossal were going to dress up as Audrey and Seymour for Halloween, and that also Mike Holmes and a friend were also dressing up as Audrey and Seymour.
It’s kind of the year of Little Shop of Horrors, what with the original ending finally being released with the Blu-ray release of the movie. I’m looking forward to seeing it.
In addition to being fine people and excellent costume creators, Jess, Eric, and Mike are very talented cartoonists and you should check out their work.
Also: today in New York City, New Jersey, Maryland, and many other parts of the eastern end of this country, people are waking up to unbelievable amounts of damage from the hurricane—millions of dollars worth. I’ve been looking at pictures all night, when not making comics; the magnitude is unbelievable. It’s going to take a long time to repair. I hope you are all OK.
