Hey, I just wanted more Gus. If he HAPPENS to be naked, well who am I to complain? 😉

Thanks! I am a little embarrassed by the early artwork, I’ll admit. But that’s the way it goes. I looked at other cartoonists who started rough and got better, and thought, if they can do it, I can do it—so maybe my art will inspire someone else.
As to the painting, I only started to use paint this past January. Before that I used a pen for the shadows, and then flattened it to a uniform gray. This year I though I’d experiment with a watercolor wash, and leave in the texture instead of flattening it. I’m glad you like it!
