Dress to Impress
As you may have heard, I’m in the market for a new job. I was thinking about whether or not I should wear a suit to an interview, and I decided the answer was no, not any of the suits I own now. So I guess I’ll go shopping.
If you follow me on Twitter (and, really, why would you?), you’ll know I spent the weekend at the Pitchfork Music Festival here in Chicago. I also got to meet Frank Gibson and Becky Dreistadt, and hang out a bit with Frank and John Campbell, and now I am going to tell you to go check out their comics. Tiny Kitten Teeth is like nothing you’ve seen before, and Pictures for Sad Children is simply one of my favorites (for example read this one). And OH MY did you know that Becky did guest comics for Penny Arcade? If you follow Penny Arcade (and I’m not going to lie to you — I don’t) you may know that these guys basically never have guest strips… so this is kind of impressive.
I will let you know if I ever do anything impressive.
Please do! I’m waiting for something impressive myself.
