In which: Mother and daughter meet for the first time, and the boys look on.
You know, every time I sit down to write a little post under my comic, I can’t remember what I was going to tell you. Something about people being awesome. Some people are awesome? You know who you are.
Last weekend was the CHIRP record fair. I went because a part of CHIRP, and it’s fun, but also I wanted to see some of the performances. One of the artists was Daniel Knox, who does a sort of cabaret-ish kind of thing. You should check him out! Anyway, I stood there with my pad and drew him and it looked kind of like this.
(And yes you may notice I have joined the ranks of people with Tumblr blogs, or Tumblogs, and whatever the term of art is. If you are into the tumbles, maybe you’d like to follow me. Or maybe not, you are free to make your own decisions in this world.)
Also, for you west coasters, I will be at the Stumptown Comics Fest next weekend, but only on Saturday. So come! Look at that list of exhibitors! Wow! I just want to run around any buy other people’s stuff all day, but I will try to stay put and sell you things. I’ll be at the Prism booth again, in booth E6-7, which is right smack by the ladies room.
I have never been to Portland before. I am excited! I hear they put birds on things.
