Hi folks!
Time for some linkage: two of the people I shared a panel with a C2E2 in Chicago a few weeks ago.
Kris Dresen wrote a comic (until just a couple of years ago) called Max and Lily, the story of a gay man and a lesbian who are best friends. It’s pretty awesome, and the art is great. Her new project is called She Said and it’s also pretty great.
Dale Lazarov, meanwhile, writes fancy hardcover pornographic comics. He writes the scenes, and then works with a number of different artists to realize them. He also has a Tumblog where he posts all kinds of illustrations and comics (mostly images of men). It’s a good place to find new artists and comics, and to see what Dale is up to. But oh my do not visit the site at work, unless your workplace is very liberal. Yeah, Dale writes porn, and his Tumblog is not so clean. Also not recommended if you prefer to avoid pictures of guys doin’ stuff to each other. Here’s a generally pretty clean page: a character study for an upcoming comic he’s working on.
