You’d do the same thing in this situation.
I tell you, as I was drawing Mike B tonight I was saying to myself, DON’T FORGET THE GOATEE, DON’T FORGET THE GOATEE!
So hey folks if you are coming to C2E2, Chicago’s newest comic con (and why wouldn’t you, if you are in the area? All kinds of cool people will be there) then you should come see me in a panel on Friday, 04/16/2010, 6:45:00 PM – 7:45:00 PM called “Chicago Gays in Comics”. Dale hasn’t told me the topic but I think we’re going to discuss making the perfect pot roast, or maybe how to bet on horses.
Panelists besides me include Dale Lazarov, Kris Dresen, Saro Spice, and Joe Palmer, and we’ll be moderated by the ever-charming Steve Disme of the Comic Book Queers podcast.
I won’t have a table, so if you want to see me you’ll have to catch me at the panel, or hope to find me wandering around later.

As someone from Nottingham in the UK, this is so true!
Nottingham… don’t you have a huge Centre Parcs?
The topic is “Chicagoland-area LGBT comics writers, illustrators and scholars discuss depictions of sexuality and gender in their own work and comics in general as well as the dilemmas of serving a niche market and/or trying to appeal to a “crossover mainstream” audience. Panelists include Dale Lazarov, Kris Dresen, Saro Spice, Joe Palmer and Tony Breed and moderator Steve Disme.” Sorry if I forgot to send this along. :-/
Aw, I knew that. (You did tell me.) I was making a dry-humor-joke. Apparently too dry. So YES the panel is about Chicago Gays in Comics (not pot roast) and more specifically it’s about what Dale said and you should TOTALLY come.
