On friendship, dating, parental feelings, beards, etc.
Today’s comic is not inspired by any sort of real-life incident. However, I do notice a tendency to feel a little, let’s say, protective of my friends’ kids, even if those kids are the same age as some of my other friends.
In the meantime, I’m not entirely certain where Charlie’s indie rock beard experiment will go. What do you think?
I think Charlie would look good with a beard. Um… should it say in the middle panel, “… and I feel wierd about that. I shouldn’t…” instead of, ” … and I feel wierd about that. It shouldn’t…” ? Just checking… it kinda “feels” wierd, but that could just be me. :o)
Can he grow a beard? He might be one of those guys who tries, but ends up with light beard fluff that just confuses people.
By all means let Charlie grow an ironic indie radio-person beard – but PLEASE, NO NECK-BEARD. Neck beard is just… ew.
