…And how’s little Bennie?
When I went to fact-check today’s comic, I learned that, in fact, it’s not true that Einstein didn’t speak until 3 or 4. I learned this from a web site that talks about what to say when your child is in speech therapy and people say “but Einstein didn’t speak until he was 3”, so apparently this is a very common issue for people whose children have special needs.
Two of my closest friends have kids with special needs—great little kids I’ve known since they were born. It feels pretty normal to me to be around that, so I’m bringing a little of it into the strip.
In other news… SPX
The Small Press Expo is this weekend! If you are in the vicinity of Bethesda, you should ABSOLUTELY come on down.
Hope to see you there!

I always make faces at small children! It’s most fun on the city bus, so you can make the child giggle loudly (or make really strange, perplexed faces) when the parental unit isn’t looking. When they do turn around to investigate? Stone face.
Much fun!
Yup. Definitely in the same place as Finn with the kids.
Wow, what an adventure. I have just spent the past 4 hours reading every Finn and Charlie comic. So good! Will definitely be looking to buy your books. Great work, love the characters, love all the story lines and most of all I think you Tony are awesome.
I just plowed through from the beginning. Love the comic!
